Hiring an outside team is sometimes not a need. Often, we connect with organizations that already have a team, or at least the building blocks of a team. Their need is in helping level up their team.
To solve this problem, CAN created a licensed trade school for data science skills. Licensed by the State of Nebraska’s Department of Education, the Omaha Data Science Academy (ODSA) can be used to upskill your current work force in the skills necessary to build and manage internal data science. It can also be used to identify early data scientists looking for their first engagement.

Students find our school very different than traditional knowledge centers.

First, data science skills are taught in easy to digest modules built for employed individuals. Our school is designed around people who have work the next day and cant waste time on frivolous, silly, unneeded knowledge and homework. Every second has to be spent on relevant useable knowledge.

We do that by adhering to two mantras:

Our school only uses those who practice from 8-5 the very skill they teach at the Academy. We do teach our teachers how to teach too, but their full time, paying gig is the one we are training our students to do.

Make those who want to learn
actually employable.

Unlike others, our certificates are job readiness declarations. We use real job descriptions to inform our professors what skills are needed to qualify for actual jobs and then create a curriculum to match those requirements.
